PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (hereinafter referred to as “MNC Bank” or “the Bank”) is a national private bank established under the name PT Bank Bumiputera on August 9, 1989. The Bank officially commenced operations on January 12, 1990, and obtained a license as a foreign exchange bank in 1997. In 2002, the Bank listed its shares as a publicly traded company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange
On August 31, 2014, PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk acquired the shares of Bank ICB Bumiputera and became the controlling shareholder. Officially based on the Decree of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority No.18/ KDK.03/2014 dated October 15, 2014, PT Bank ICB Bumiputera Tbk changed its name to PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (MNC Bank), confirming its identity as a separate entity that is part of the MNC Group.
In line with MNC Bank’s vision to become a future-oriented bank grounded in cutting-edge technology to facilitate transactions while balancing economic, social, and environmental interests, MNC Bank offers a wide range of deposit products, loan products, and diverse financial services, categorized for both individual and business clients, alongside various programs and promotions.
By the end of 2025, MNC Bank will have 42 branches, branch offices, and operational functional offices, as well as 65 ATMs connected to over 200,000 ATMs within the GPN, ATM Prima, and ATM Bersama networks. Furthermore, the collaboration between MNC Bank’s Motion Banking app and Indomaret outlets and Post Offices which collectively comprise over 200,000 Indomaret outlets and 20,000 Post Offices has significantly simplified banking transactions for customers, including both deposits and cash withdrawals. This has further boosted the bank’s performance throughout 2025, evidenced by MNC Bank receiving several prestigious awards at the 14th Infobank-Insentia Digital Brand Award 2025, in the following categories: “The Best Conventional Commercial Bank Deposit KBMI I,” “The Best Conventional Commercial Bank Debit Card KBMI I,” “The Best Conventional Commercial Bank Credit Card KBMI I,” “The Best Conventional Commercial Bank Savings Account KBMI I,” and “The 2nd Best Conventional Commercial Bank KBMI I.” These awards serve as recognition of MNC Bank’s performance in 2025 and as motivation to continue improving in the years to come.
