MNC Bank Signs Agreement With Civil Registration Directorate General

Jakarta - PT Bank MNC International Tbk signed a cooperation in the utilization of population data with the Ministry of Home Affairs Directorate General of Civil Registration in Jakarta, Friday (12/4). The signing was carried out by the Director General of Dukcapil Zudan Arif Fakrulloh and President Director of MNC Bank, Mahdan, carried out simultaneously with 23 other Financial Services Institutions.
"With this collaboration, banks can improve the quality of KYC on the bank side, and provide services that are safer, faster and more convenient for customers." Said Mahdan. Furthermore, he also explained that the collaboration was the capital to offer a variety of innovative facilities and services in welcoming the development of digital banking and industry 4.0.
By using Dukcapil direct access as a foundation for building digital infrastructure networks, MNC Bank can be more accurate and faster in the process of verifying customer data. This supports the development of products and services in the future, customers can register online and immediately be verified with data from Dukcapil.
This collaboration is expected to play a role in helping improve service quality and Bank performance. In the 2018 financial year, MNC Bank managed to improve financial performance significantly, which at the end of 2018 had posted a net profit of Rp 57.02 billion. Positive performance can also be seen in several other parameters such as net interest margin in December 2018 4.10%, an increase from December 2017 which was 3.04%. In addition, the Bank also succeeded in carrying out operational efficiency reflected in Operational Expenses to Operational Revenues in December 2018 of 93.51%, a significant decrease from December 2017 which amounted to 180.62%.
