JAKARTA - PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk has again made an achievement. This time, MNC Bank received the TOP GRC 2019 appreciation organized by Top Business magazine in collaboration with KNKG (National Committee on Governance Policy), IRMAPA (Indonesian Risk Management Professional Association), and ICoPI (Indonesian Compliance Professional Institute), and the Asia Business Research Center in the activity titled TOP GRC 2019 which was held in Jakarta on Thursday (8/22).
"This award is a trigger for us to further complement our infrastructure and strengthen the implementation of GCG, Risk Management and Compliance Management (GRC)," said MNC Bank Chief Compliance Officer Ricko Irwanto in connection with the awards won by MNC Bank.
Ricko continued, throughout 2018, MNC Bank has made various efforts to improve the quality of governance, risk management and compliance. By doing so, the bank's business processes have become increasingly able to sustain brilliant performance gains. Appreciation from TOP GRC is considered as a sign that the efforts made in the right direction. But he also reminded all management teams and employees not to be complacent, because there is always room for improvement so that banks can continue to grow and develop properly.
"We hope there will be a learning process and an increase in commitment and implementation of GRC in MNC Bank and other companies so that it can support sustainable business growth, and contribute to national economic development," said Chairman of the TOP GRC Committee Lutfi Handayani.
The assessment is conducted by a jury, based on various criteria including transparency and accountability of financial statements and auditor's opinion, the completeness of the annual report, and the supporting infrastructure of GRC. The judging is done not only by considering bank reporting data, but also by direct interviews with MNC Bank management.
"We are committed to continuing to improve the function of GRC in MNC Bank not only to produce positive performance, but also to support the bank's vision and mission," concluded Ricko.
