Jakarta— PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk. has received appreciation for its good track record of improving performance and fulfilling regulator programs. This appreciation comes from Bank Indonesia formally through letter No.21 / 90 / DSSK / Srt / B dated January 18, 2019 regarding the Implementation of National Chip Technology Standards and the Use of a 6 (six) digit Online Identification Number for ATM Cards and / or Cards Debit Issued in Indonesia.
"Appreciation from Bank Indonesia is the results of all employees and management efforts.", Said MNC Bank Compliance Director Mahdan in connection with achieving the implementation target of issuing ATM Cards and / or Debit Cards that have used National Chip Technology Standards (SNTC) and Personal Identification Numbers ( PIN) online 6 (six) digits with min. percentage of 30% that must be migrated to SNTC.
Mahdan continued, that before January 1, 2019, MNC Bank migrated cards using SNTC up to 40.1%. This was a special achievement because there were not many banks that were able to pass the minimum presentation target from Bank Indonesia. But he also reminded the entire management team and employees not to be complacent.
"I am sure that the entire MNC Bank will be able to reach and exceed the target of the next Bank Indonesia before January 1, 2020." He responded about the possibility of MNC Bank getting an appreciation from Bank Indonesia in the following period.
